3 Core values

Interpersonal Communication:

Interpersonal communication is not just a skill I studied it is one I have been practicing for years in real, high-stakes environments. Through volunteering with foster youth, teen mothers, and domestic violence survivors, I learned that how we speak to people and how we make them feel heard has a direct impact on their willingness to trust institutions. My Communications coursework gave me the frameworks to name what I had already been doing intuitively in those spaces.

Community Advocacy:

A thread running through all of my volunteer experiences is a commitment to showing up for people who are navigating systems that were not always designed with them in mind. From food banks to foster care to domestic violence services, I have seen firsthand that advocacy is not about speaking for people it is about creating conditions where they can speak for themselves. These experiences have shaped the kind of professional I want to become: someone who uses their position inside an institution to make it more humane and accessible.

Relationship Centered Care:

Relationship-centered care holds that the relationship between a provider and the people they serve built on mutual respect, trust, and genuine understanding is not a soft add-on but the very foundation of good work. Every environment I have volunteered in has reinforced this belief, from foster youth who needed consistency, to survivors at Becky's House whose entire experience depended on trust. This is not just a healthcare concept to me it is the foundation of any institution that genuinely serves people.

work Experience

HR Intern - KTGY:

Currently interning with the HR team at KTGY, a leading architecture and design firm, where I support day-to-day people operations, administrative HR functions, and recruitment coordination. This role has given me hands-on experience in a professional HR environment and confirmed my passion for building workplaces where people feel supported and valued.

Assistant Site Director - CampCo:

As Assistant Site Director, I supervised and evaluated a team of 10 to 15 counselors, assisted with staff onboarding and scheduling, and served as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution. This role was my first real taste of people management and taught me that strong leadership is rooted in communication, consistency, and genuine care for your team.

Children's Ministry Coordinator - Harbor Point Church:

For several years I coordinated weekly programming, managed volunteer scheduling, and supported the onboarding of new team members at Harbor Point Church. This role taught me the importance of clear communication, relationship building, and showing up consistently for a community that depends on you values I carry into every professional environment I enter.

Personal Hobbies

Cooking and baking:

Some of my favorite memories have been made in the kitchen, learning recipes passed down from my mom and grandma. Cooking and baking is where I slow down, get creative, and feel most connected to the people I love. There is something special about carrying on traditions through food and making them your own along the way.

Staying Active:

Staying active is a big part of how I recharge. Whether I am at the gym, playing pickleball, or going on walks with my dog and friends, movement is how I clear my head and stay grounded. I love that being active does not have to mean a workout — sometimes it just means good company and fresh air.

Reading:

I have always loved getting lost in a good book, and lately I have been completely consumed by the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. There is something about a world so richly built and characters so deeply layered that makes it impossible to put down. ACOTAR reminded me why I fell in love with reading in the first place — storytelling at its best makes you feel everything.
